Our Mission

Paramount Twirlers' mission is to provide a safe and fun environment for twirlers to learn, grow and develop.  We strive to give all twirlers the opportunity to showcase their abilities through performances, competitions and leadership.

How old do I have to be to start?

Classes are offered for twirlers age 4 and up.  If twirlers are turning 4 in the early Fall, they may be considered for Fall registration based on their maturity and ability.

What types of opportunities do I have as a twirler?

Paramount Twirlers perform at various town events, parades and school activities.  In addition to these events, students have the opportunity to compete at various competitions around the state, region and nation.

Are there opportunities to twirl after high school?

Many twirlers continue their twirling careers in college by twirling for their school marching bands on either a majorette line or in a feature twirler position.  Some colleges even offer scholarships for their twirling positions.

Director and Coach, Kellie Guinn, is a former University of South Carolina Feature Twirler, Jr. Miss Majorette of America, Sr. National Strut Champion, six-time Top 6 Grand National Finalist and two-time world silver medalist.
